Alyssa Zoe Putnam is an oil painter from Seattle, Washington where she currently resides. She received a BFA from Western Washington University in 2012 where she graduated with a degree in Mixed Media and Painting. Informed by folklore, myth and fairytales, her work creates an impressionistic lens with which to view these stories. Through layers of oil paint she attempts to cut to the marrow and explore how these kinetic veins continue to echo today. Alyssa’s paintings have been exhibited at Linda Hodges, Common Ground, Blah Blah Gallery and Bellevue Art Museum. She has been featured in Public Display Arts, as well as City Arts Magazine where she won first place at the City Arts autumn 2017 Art Walk Awards.
